Allis Fiction, on top of the page, is a text, continuously moving forward. It is also an author, a typesetter, a reader and a designer of sentences, patterns and rulings in Ottawa, ON.
Its purpose? To propose a different way to read and write, by handwriting long texts on top of unconventional layouts; allowing words to flow continuously, whithout visual breaks at the end of each line.
By questioning the way we read and write, Allis Fiction opens up the possibility for our brains to think differently, untied from the customary patterns that we all follow everyday; that is, to question the fact that we experience language following straight, boring, breaking lines, just like we are doing in this paragraph here.
